Heirloomish collects as little as it can to work. We don't ask for email addresses or create accounts.
What we store
- Your registry quiz answers and the recommendations we made, so your results page keeps working.
- If you make a guest page: the first names, wedding date, message, featured picks and Amazon registry link you enter. Anyone with the page's link can see it.
- If you add one, the email address for recovering your edit link. It's private: it never appears on your guest page, and we only use it to send your edit link when someone asks for it on the “Find your edit link” page. We send those emails through Resend, an email delivery service. Edit your guest page and clear the field to remove it.
- When someone asks for a lost edit link, a scrambled (hashed) form of their IP address, kept for up to two days to stop repeated requests.
- Anonymous usage events, such as which items were opened on Amazon or checked off. We use them to improve recommendations. They aren't tied to your name.
- Visit counts (pages viewed, referring site, country and device type) through Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify you.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or use advertising trackers.
- We never see your Amazon account, address or purchases.
